Half Year Resolutions

Read somewhere "always stick to the original plan." The original plan of this blog was to promote my music. Now in the thin sliver of my life between work and sleep it is infinitely more entertaining to write (and read) blog posts rather than promote music but I should return to the original plan so posting had better be light for a few days.

Update: I've just posted my longest post ever, on a visit to Orwell's house on Jura, but I have been working on it for the last few weeks.

Review

Browsing the web today I came across this review of a gig I did nearly two years ago.  I had never seen the review before. It's a nice review on the whole even though he says:- "she controlled the keyboard with the dexterity of a gloved boxer".  My memory of the gig is of a couple of scarey young guys wearing Burberry caps, the kind of guys whose eyes I would try not to meet when getting the night bus, coming up to me after I had played and asking me about the songs, "especially the one about the fox." (Urban Fox)  And how chuffed I was at that.
