All power to this. An old friend of mine lost his son, someone I'd known as a small boy, to a cycling 'accident' in London a few years back. It was no accident really: truck cutting a corner, literally and metaphorically, to further the great Olympic project failed to see him because of blind spot. Partner and 18 month old daughter left behind. Appalling.


That's appalling. There have been quite a few accidents in London of that kind - lorry at junction. A disproportionate number of women cyclists have been killed that way.


And that is a shocking statistic, deeply disturbing.
